Verhinderung von Komplikationen durch strukturierte Weiterbildung in der Gefäßchirurgie
摘要
Surgical procedures are always associated with a high risk of complications. These can be facilitated by a variety of factors, such as a lack of experience, communication errors or inadequate organizational structures. In view of the complexity and increasing demands in medicine, a well-founded and structured surgical training is crucial to ensure long-term treatment quality and patient safety. This article examines multiple levels of surgical training in the context of complication prevention.
Structured training to prevent complicationsEffective training in vascular surgery needs to balance theoretical knowledge transfer, practical skills training and the development of non-technical skills (NTS), such as teamwork and decision making. Curricular frameworks, skills training, mentoring and qualification in continuing education represent key elements. In addition, regular and systematic competency assessment is necessary to promote continuous improvement and ensure patient safety in the long term.
ConclusionTo meet the challenges of modern surgery, structured training curricula are necessary. In addition to a theoretical foundation this requires the joint commitment of all involved stakeholders. Continuous adaptation of training structures to current demands and active engagement with one’s own role in the training process are essential to ensure long-term quality in training and, consequently, patient safety.
