Indikationen und Techniken der endovaskulären Desobliteration von chronischen Beckenvenenverschlüssen – eine Übersicht
摘要
Chronic venous obstruction (CVO), consisting of non-thrombotic iliac vein lesions (NIVL) and obstructive post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS), represent important burdens for the quality of life of the patients and also for the healthcare system. Although venous recanalization and stent implantation are very promising minimally invasive approaches, challenges still exist in the selection of patients, the procedural techniques and the long-term results.
This review article summarizes the current knowledge on the interventional treatment of CVO, with a focus on the development of endovascular techniques and stents. Nuances of the procedures and features of specialized venous stents are discussed. Special attention is given to the role of the inflow and other anatomical aspects as well as the postoperative management for optimal long-term results.
