Evidenzbasierte Diagnostik und Therapie der oberflächlichen Venenthrombose
摘要
Superficial vein thrombosis is a frequent disease. At the time of diagnosis deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is frequently already present and the frequency in 3 large studies in the literature was between 24.9% and 29.4%. Pulmonary embolisms have also been described. The diagnosis should be confirmed by sonography, as the clinical examination does not provide an exact conclusion on the length of the superficial vein thrombosis (SVT) or on the distance to the transition into the deep vein system. The treatment of choice is thrombosis prophylaxis with fondaparinux 2.5mg/day for 45 days when the length of the OVT reaches 5cm and the distance to the transition into the deep vein system is >3cm. If a DVT is already present or the distance into the deep vein system is <3cm, therapeutic anticoagulation should be carried out for 3 months. Compression treatment can be additionally carried out.
