Individualisierte Therapie des klassischen Hodgkin-Lymphoms
摘要
18F-Fluorodeoxyglucose positron-emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG-PET/CT) plays a central role in the individualized treatment of classical Hodgkin lymphoma.
ObjectiveFor risk stratification and treatment planning, PET-based staging is performed before the start of therapy. Treatment response monitoring during and/or after systemic therapy is also performed with PET/CT to adapt the treatment.
ResultsThis treatment—adapted to the individual risk profile and therapeutic response—enables high cure rates in patients with Hodgkin lymphoma while simultaneously limiting negative side effects of treatment.
ConclusionNew parameters such as the metabolic tumor volume promise further optimization of individualized treatment concepts adapted to the individual patients’ risks.
