Cancer Survivorship – psychosoziale Spät- und Langzeitfolgen bei Krebsüberlebenden
摘要
As an increasing number of people survive cancer, research and care are shifting towards the psychosocial long-term and late sequelae of the disease and its treatment. This article summarizes the evidence for common psychological and social issues among adult cancer survivors, focusing on depressive and anxiety symptoms, cancer-related fatigue, and impairments relating to work, finances, and participation. Overall, a significant proportion of survivors experience these burdens for many years after diagnosis, with cancer type, treatment-related factors and individual vulnerability characteristics influencing their severity and progression. At the same time, trajectories over time are heterogeneous. Persistent, late-onset or recurrent burdens are often linked to limitations in functioning and participation. The available evidence indicates a need for phase-, disease-, and person-adapted aftercare that includes repeated screening and consideration of key vulnerability characteristics.
