<p>Urothelial carcinomas of the bladder and upper urinary tract require a&#xa0;risk-adapted interdisciplinary diagnostic approach. In addition to endoscopy with histologic confirmation and urine cytology, imaging represents a&#xa0;key diagnostic pillar. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) including the urographic phase is considered the reference standard for detection and staging, while magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) offers a&#xa0;radiation-free alternative. Early identification of high-risk patients and guideline-based multimodal diagnostics remain essential for optimizing treatment planning and follow-up.</p>
