Das metastasierte Kolorektalkarzinom: eine komplexe Erkrankung mit zunehmend individualisierten Therapieansätzen
摘要
Metastatic colorectal cancer is more than just one disease. With mandatory genetic analysis with respect to microsatellite instability high (MSIh) status, RAS and BRAFV600E mutations, first-line treatment options are determined by the molecular make-up of the tumors. In addition, patient derived factors, such as age, comorbidities and patient preferences influence the treatment intensity and treatment goals. Within these aims, special attention must be paid to oligometastatic disease as the window of opportunity of a potential secondary metastasectomy with curative intent should not be missed. In this article, the current developments of precision oncology and potential future advances are discussed.
