Faktenblatt: Epidemiologie der bösartigen Neubildungen des Magens in Deutschland 2020 bis 2021

The fact sheet provides an overview of the epidemiology of malignant neoplasms of the stomach in Germany for the years 2020 and 2021, including incidences and distributions of the various histological subgroups, tumor locations, and stages for both sexes. In addition, the distribution of tumor stages for localizations is discussed. Besides the median age at diagnosis, age-specific incidence rates are reported, and the 5‑year survival is determined for various histology groups according to tumor stage. Developments regarding incidence and mortality rates for the last two decades are shown, and the current rates are placed in an international context.
