Chirurgische Therapie des Magenkarzinoms
摘要
Surgical therapy of gastric cancer remains the backbone of curative treatment, is an integral part of multimodal treatment approaches, and is crucial for the prognosis and long-term survival of patients. The current article provides a detailed overview of the surgical treatment of gastric cancer. Minimally invasive techniques, such as laparoscopic or robot-assisted gastrectomy, are gaining increasing acceptance. Both the choice of reconstruction and subtotal resections can have a decisive influence on quality of life. In addition to the treatment of advanced and oligometastatic tumors, including hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC), a range of surgical options are also available in the palliative situation.
