Stiftung PATH – eine Gewebebank als Symbol für wissenschaftliches Patientinnen-Empowerment im Kampf gegen Brustkrebs

The Patients’ Tumor Bank of Hope (PATH) is a not-for-profit biobank in Germany organized as a foundation under public law. PATH was founded by breast cancer survivors and is intended to be used for the sole purpose of supporting research into curing breast cancer. PATH stores breast cancer tumor tissue at six locations in Germany with matching normal adjacent tissue samples. All molecular subtypes are available. Follow-up information is available for the majority of patients.
