Fragilität und Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) in der gynäkologischen Onkologie
摘要
Enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) is a model to improve the quality of care of patients after gynecologic surgery. Standardized ERAS protocols play a crucial role in gynecologic oncology in terms of reducing morbidity Their implementation requires planning within an interdisciplinary team, and alongside guideline-conform treatment, protocols must always be adapted to the individual needs of the patient. In older tumor patients, fragility and vulnerability to external stressors are more prevalent. These patients experience prolonged recovery periods after extensive surgical procedures, and are at a significantly increased risk of complicated postoperative courses with associated higher healthcare costs. The holistic approach to caring for fragile patients with gynecologic oncologic disease in an interprofessional team should standardize perioperative care.
