<p>Antibody-mediated diseases of the nervous system represent a&#xa0;rapidly growing and clinically heterogeneous spectrum of neurological diseases, most of which are still poorly understood. The new Austrian Registry for Nervous System Antibody-Mediated Diseases (ARENA) aims to systematically collect data on these various diseases (MOGAD, NMOSD, autoimmune encephalitis, paraneoplastic neurological syndromes, paranodopathies) in a&#xa0;joint registry with a&#xa0;parallel biobank in order to improve understanding of these diseases as well as diagnosis and treatment for affected patients. Currently, many neurological departments in Austria with representatives from all states are already participating as ARENA centers. An information platform for practitioners, patients, and their relatives is also planned for the future.</p>

Antibody-mediated diseases of the nervous system represent a rapidly growing and clinically heterogeneous spectrum of neurological diseases, most of which are still poorly understood.
