Partizipative Arbeit in der Früherkennung
摘要
The involvement of people with lived experience of mental ill-health is one of the most important prerequisites for patient-centred care and mental health research. This development reflects a broader understanding of the necessity to conduct research not just for, but with people with lived experience. While there is a clear increase in the development of participatory approaches in research and care planning, widespread implementation is far from reality.
This article provides an overview of models and principles of patient and public involvement in the field of early detection and early intervention of psychosis and discusses two case studies to illustrate the benefits, barriers and facilitators of participatory research designs.
