Schizophrene Störung – Vom „Drehtüreffekt“ zum therapeutischen Wohnheim
摘要
This article presents content from a case study of a 28-year-old patient suffering from paranoid schizophrenia who required repeated inpatient psychiatric treatment. As part of the patient’s therapy, he had numerous hospitalizations in a psychiatric ward for months. In this article, the “revolving door” phenomenon within psychiatry shall be described in more detail and parallels drawn with the patient’s treatment path. Among other things, with the aid of the case study, the ways in which the transition to a therapeutic residential home was successful and which challenges had to be overcome during the transition to an outpatient treatment setting are described.
