Amyloid-PET/CT – Überblick und Fallbeispiele

Amyloid positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) is a helpful aid in imaging pathological cerebral amyloid deposits and is a proven tool for the diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases. However, it should not be the only diagnostic means when it comes to the assessment of neurodegenerative diseases. The following article contains a short summary of the possibilities of amyloid PET/CT as well as two case reports.
