<p>This study assessed the correlation between social media use for medical information during pregnancy and maternal mental health. We found that prenatal social media use for medical information was associated with higher anxiety and distress symptoms at the end of pregnancy. Healthcare professionals should be prepared to counsel women on using social media for medical information during pregnancy.</p>
