摘要

This essay examines the interrelation of neoliberalism and psychotherapy apps through the mechanisms of therapeuticization, governmentality, and subjectification, as well as the possible applications of psychotherapy apps. In doing so, it reveals a transformation of biopolitics into digital psychopolitics and a shift in the direction of governance. The focus of this work lies on two phenomena: 1. The independent use of psychotherapeutic techniques as an adaptation to neoliberal forms of socialization and corresponding subject norms. 2. The negation of the tension between individual factors and social dynamics, which occurs in digital offerings in favor of a focus on the individual. In this process, mental well-being is decontextualized, and individual possibilities for change are overemphasized.
