Gemeinsame Reverie und Imaginationen als förderliche Elemente in einem intersubjektiven Feld einer psychodynamisch orientierten Traumatherapie bei komplexer posttraumatischer Belastungsstörung
摘要
The following text explores the potential of shared reverie and imagination within an intersubjective field of psychodynamically oriented trauma therapy for complex posttraumatic stress disorder. For highly vulnerable individuals who cannot find words for their complex traumatic experiences, Bion’s concept of “containment” is crucial in transforming unsymbolized, diffuse, and overwhelming beta elements into symbolizable alpha elements. Since the capacity for attachment is often impaired, a central therapeutic task is to create a shared intersubjective space where catastrophic feelings can be acknowledged and trust can grow. Working with imagination proves particularly helpful, as it supports the symbolization of previously unspoken traumatic experiences and, it enables the horror experienced to take shape and thus manageable.
