Die Phänomenologie als mögliche gemeinsame Grundlage des Humanistischen Clusters

Currently the psychotherapeutic approaches of the humanistic cluster are facing several challenges: On the one hand the new Psychotherapy Law (2024) in Austria and the associated desideratum of cross-method, cluster-wide humanistic research; on the other hand, the situation of humanistic psychotherapy in Germany, which has been excluded from academic institutionalization and participation in public health care by health insurance companies (Kriz 2023). With our contribution we want to present ideas for a metatheoretical framework for such a common research program, which offers a fundament for a common identity, overarching theory formation and joint empirical research in the humanistic cluster—under the auspices of a philosophical phenomenology and a phenomenological psychopathology.
