„Verhaltenstherapie“ heute – eine Kurzcharakteristik

  • Josef Wilhelm Egger

摘要

“Behavioral therapy” is one of the—historically and scientifically—fundamental traditions of psychotherapy. The numerous theoretical and practical approaches no longer result in a consistent “therapeutical school”. Nevertheless all “behavioral theoretical” concepts are based on the demand for empirical-scientific review of their approaches and practical procedures. For the use of this relatively large, internationally applied therapies, especially for the application within medical framework, a relatively open methodological concept is favored. Within this understanding the current cognitive-behavioral therapies sometimes also refers as “integrative behavioral therapy” or “psychological psychotherapy”. The general basics are the good scientific foundation, the wide range of application, the transparent therapy design and the wide range of methods as well as the emancipatory approach “professional help for self-help”. Embedded in the bio-psycho-social theory of health and illness the modern behavior therapy supports the desired integration of psychosocial and biomedical aspects in practice.
