摘要

The fracture behavior of rotating cracked components under centrifugal loading is a critical factor in the structural integrity of turbomachinery and related systems. This work analyses a cracked rotating disc subjected to volumetric loading induced by centrifugal forces. Mixed-mode stress intensity factors were obtained through numerical and semi-analytical methods. The contribution of the non-singular stress term (T-stress), uniformly applied to the specimen, was explicitly incorporated into the fracture analysis. Existing analytical models were extended to include the T-stress effect, and their validity was verified against the proposed results. The findings provide improved predictive capability for fracture assessment of rotating discs operating under high centrifugal loads.
