<p>This study explores the critical balance between professional appearance and thermal comfort, a key factor in workplace satisfaction, especially in challenging hot and humid climates. Utilizing a robust mixed-methods approach, it investigates the complex relationship between dress codes and thermal comfort perceptions in indoor, outdoor and semi-outdoor spaces. Through quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, the research uncovers the nuanced preferences, behaviours, and challenges that occupants face concerning attire regulations and their adaptation to thermal comfort. The study found that the Neutral temperatures vary by space type: 26.7&#xa0;°C for semi-outdoor areas with natural ventilation and 23.8&#xa0;°C for indoor areas with air conditioning. Notably, 85% of employees who chose clothing reported comfort, compared to 55% who wore strict uniforms. By proposing adaptable and sustainable strategies, this research aims to transform workplace environments, enhancing well-being and performance in tropical climates.</p>
