A review: application of metamaterials in the performance improvement of application in biomedicine
摘要
A special area has focused on the use of metamaterial in recent years due to certain characteristics that it exhibits, bandwidth, radiated power, and directivity when electromagnetic radiation is directed, among others. These sub-wavelength deliberate materials give unprecedented control of physical phenomena such as superlensing thick, negative refraction, and cloaking. Metamaterials are expected to enhance biomedical applications, especially in the areas of imaging, sensing, diagnostics, and therapeutic interventions. It is a clever or novel class of artificially created substances that can develop electromagnetic characteristics that aren’t conceivable in natural resources, like electromagnetic cloaking or a negative refraction index. Such attractive features of metamaterials have resulted in the creation of new hitherto tools and ideas that are applied in different spheres of modern technology. As a result, metamaterials find application in biosensors, crowd management, optical filters, antennas, absorbers, monitoring of infrastructure, smart solar power control, energy harvesters, even earthquake-resistant structures, many other technologies in automotive, aerospace, and medical industries.
