Design of a wideband bandpass filter with quarter wavelength triple parallel line
摘要
A broadband filter with simple structure is proposed and validated in this article. This structure introduced triple hybrid parallel coupled lines to form a T-shaped resonator planar topology. For the proposed structure, ABCD matrix is adopted to calculate TZs and TPs. Further, independent and controllable passband can be obtained by adjusting the electrical length appropriately. The center frequency of the single broadband bandpass filter designed for verification is located at 5.5 GHz (f0), with fractional bandwidth of 52.5%. The formation reasons of TZs and TPs and the influence of size parameters on the S-parameters are discussed in detail. The test between the measured results and the simulation results are matched well, thus successfully verifying the correctness of the proposed design method.
