Two-phase elliptic free boundary problems with exponential nonlinearities

We study two-phase free boundary problems in planar domains related to models describing the equilibrium of a confined plasma in a cavity, ruled by semilinear elliptic equations with nonlinearities with exponential growth plus a singular inverse of a power. We obtain the existence and regularity of solutions arising as critical points of the associated energy functional and we also address the regularity of free boundaries as smooth curves.
