Elemente des Landschaftswasserbaus als Anpassung an den Klimawandel: Beispiel Burbach/Oberösterreich
摘要
The challenges posed by climate change in integrated water management are manifold, as they must address both extremes—too much and too little water—in equal measure. The key here is to define measures across the landscape that specifically target water retention. ‘Landscape hydrology’ offers opportunities to improve water management in catchment areas through nature-based solutions. Using the example of the Burbach in the Aist catchment area, this technical paper presents measures and their impacts. It demonstrates that, using standard methods in water management practice, measures can be planned and assessed here to take account of the future requirements for improved management.
