Einzugsgebietsbezogene Analyse der spezifischen Eigenschaften von Sedimenten in Hinblick auf die Bewertung von möglicher Turbinenabrasion – GIS-Tools zur globalen Betrachtung des Risikos für Turbinenhersteller
摘要
The abrasion of turbines by sediments is a major economic problem for plant operators. High-pressure plants in particular have a high risk of developing economically unfavorably due to runner wear and other technical parts of the hydropower facility. The developers of runners, on the other hand, often have little influence on the general planning of hydropower plants, which sometimes allow sediments to enter the hydropower tunnel. In order to have improved knowledge in this area in the future, especially with regard to the guarantee in terms of the durability of turbines, the two corporate partners ANDRITZ and VOITH have been involved in the CD Laboratory in the module in the years 2017–2019. The results, some of which also include a GIS tool for assessing hydropower sites, will enable the corporate partners to expand and improve their approach to integrative sediment management to reduce the risk of turbine abrasion.
