Bürstenlose Kaskadengeneratoren für Windenergieanlagen
摘要
Brushless generator systems with doubly-fed cascade machines are currently being investigated for applications including renewable energy generation with wind turbines. They are an alternative to generator systems with doubly-fed induction machines. The stator of cascade machines contains two windings that generate two rotating fields for different numbers of pole pairs. The rotor has a specially designed short-circuited winding that is linked to both rotating fields, thus enabling power transmission via both windings. The stator winding 2 is connected to the grid via a partial converter, thus enabling the active and reactive power of wind turbines to be controlled. Capacitive-generative operating points at supersynchronous speeds can also be achieved. The calculation methods that have been developed in previous publications are used in this article to determine the achievable operating ranges of an example generator.
