A&#xa0;more favorable motor-power stack allocation is possible if a&#xa0;winding changeover procedure is practiced. In addition to the established methods star-delta changeover and series-parallel changeover, there is a&#xa0;less-known method in which the stator winding is changed over to part-winding operation. The paper deals with the winding technology and circuit engineering as well as the simulation of the steady-state operation behavior of this further method.</p>
