<p>This article discusses the excavation works at the Innsbruck emergency stop as well as in its surrounding area using NATM, which were carried out as part of construction lots E41, H33, and H41 between April 2015 and March 2023. The focus is on the system behavior of the individual tunnel excavations within the influence zone of the relevant fault zones ESI-f4158 and ESI-f8000, and the planning measures implemented in response to the encountered conditions are presented. Finally, the insights gained from the excavation works are explained.</p>
