<p>The corona pandemic serves as a&#xa0;magnifying glass for the research work to analyze social and individual conflicts surrounding sexuality. The central question examined is how subjects dealt with their sexuality during the corona pandemic and what social mediation and social exchange took place in this respect. Due to the crisis nature of the corona pandemic, an intensified (drive-induced) dilemma between satisfaction and renunciation is assumed, which actualized unconscious conflicts and desires and called up defensive formations, which are examined on the basis of sexual scripts and scenes. Methodologically, a&#xa0;video report from the public media about dating and sexuality in the lockdown is analyzed using the in-depth hermeneutic method of scenic understanding and the associated user comments are evaluated by qualitative content analysis using the MAXQDA coding software. The results show that sexuality in the pandemic could not be endured in its ambivalence and brought forth sexual scripts on gender and sexuality that were thought to have been overcome and which were to be regulated by means of crooked cures (<i>Schiefheilungen</i>). In this way, desires and fears about sexuality which were frowned upon could initially be kept in check but in the long term this can itself cause suffering and frustration.</p>
