<p>Adults of <i>Liogenys fusca</i> are active during the warm, humid periods of the year and are recognized as pests in Brazilian crops. These adults use their antennal sensilla for various functions including dispersal, locating food sources, detecting sex pheromones, recognizing conspecifics, and finding nesting sites. This study describes the antennal sensilla of <i>L. fusca</i>. From September to December 2023, adults were collected using a light trap in soybean and corn fields in Camapuã, MS, Brazil. After separating the collected adults by sex, the proximal, median, and distal lamellae of the antennae were isolated for scanning electron microscope. Various sensilla types were identified on the antennae, including trichodea, chaetica, placodea types I and II, coeloconica types I and II, auricilica, and ampullacea. In males, 4,082.5 ± 116.21 sensilla were counted: 3,286 ± 85.41 (80.46%) placodea, 460.5 ± 15.58 (11.26%) auricilica, and 338.75 ± 15.22 (8.28%) coeloconica. In females, 4,117 ± 89.21 sensilla were counted: 3,453.25 ± 51.48 (83.88%) placodea, 332.25 ± 18.25 (8.06%) auricilica, and 331.5 ± 19.48 (8.06%) coeloconica. The predominance of placodea sensilla underscores their significance for adult <i>L. fusca</i>.</p>
