Effectiveness and safety of camrelizumab plus apatinib in treating recurrent/metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma: a single-arm meta-analysis
摘要
To evaluate the efficacy and safety of camrelizumab combined with apatinib in the treatment of recurrent/metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (RM-NPC) and provide a basis for clinical application.
MethodsPubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, and Web of Science databases were searched until July 19, 2024 for relevant studies. Data extraction and risk of bias assessment were conducted. Meta-analysis was performed using R software.
ResultsFour single-arm trials with a total of 205 patients were included, with an overall survival rate of 78%, a progression-free survival rate of 45%, an objective response rate of 60%, and a disease control rate of 76%. Common adverse reactions were anemia (45%), leukopenia (46%), and fatigue (53%). The incidence of grade 3 or above adverse reactions was less than 10%, except for hypertension (16%).
ConclusionCamrelizumab combined with apatinib showed favorable efficacy and safety in the treatment of RM-NPC, providing an important reference for clinical treatment strategies.
