Sialodochoplasty with ductal size reduction for Stensen’s megaduct
摘要
Background
Stensen’s megaduct secondary to distal stenosis presents recurrent swelling and requires surgical management when minimally invasive approaches fail.
MethodWe described a novel technique, based in the use of a combined sialodochoplasty, incorporating duct size reduction with hemoclips.
ConclusionThis approach could be considered an effective technique that resolves symptoms, minimizes recurrence, and preserves gland function improving the cosmetic results.
