Interdisziplinarität in der Herzmedizin – Kinderkardiologie
摘要
Modern care for children with congenital heart defects is based on a close, historically evolved collaboration between pediatric cardiologists and pediatric heart surgeons. Even early interventional procedures, such as Rashkind’s balloon atrial septostomy, demonstrate how critical preparatory measures are for surgical success. Effective interdisciplinary teamwork requires high individual expertise, clear communication, constructive handling of differing opinions and regular re-evaluation. Hybrid procedures that combine cardiological and surgical techniques enable innovative solutions for complex conditions, such as hypoplastic left heart syndrome or difficult to access ventricular septal defects (VSD). The boundaries between disciplines are increasingly merging without creating new professional roles and individual responsibility remains essential.
