<p>An arachnoid cyst of the third ventricle of the brain is a rare condition. The paucity of information regarding these cysts makes their accurate diagnosis and optimal treatment a subject of discussion. Despite several techniques that exist for its treatment, endoscopic fenestration of the cyst should be considered the first line of management in symptomatic patients, as it is associated with fewer complications and a better outcome.</p>
