Selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) offers effective reduction of intraocular pressure (IOP). Direct selective laser trabeculoplasty (DSLT) represents an advancement, enabling automated and contactless treatment for the first time. It could become established as the first-line therapy in the future.</p>
