Purpose <p>The evolving landscape of urological practice necessitates a strong foundation in uroradiology for effective diagnosis and management.</p> Methods <p>Recognising this need, we integrated a dedicated uroradiology module into an established urology boot camp for the first-year urology residents in the UK, which focused on practical skills including transperineal prostate biopsy planning, fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided renal access, basic diagnostic kidney and testicular ultrasound, and acute/elective radiology case review.</p> Results <p>A total of 73 urology trainees completed the module. The course generally increased participants’ confidence in interpreting all five imaging modalities. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test demonstrated statistically significant improvements in confidence for: Ultrasound (Wilcoxon statistic = 23.0, <i>p</i> = 0.0001) and Prostate MRI (Wilcoxon statistic = 18.0, <i>p</i> = 0.0009). The delegates satisfaction was highest with the scrotal ultrasound station 95.64% and lowest with the bladder volume measurement station 75.71% (Very Satisfied and Satisfied). Thematic analysis highlighted the value of practical experience, expert faculty, and interactive learning. Areas for improvement included more hands-on time, better time management, and expanded clinical case discussions. Trainees with lower initial confidence benefited most, supporting the module’s role in enhancing early urology training through simulation and practical skills.</p> Conclusion <p>Preliminary observations suggest a positive response and enhanced engagement with uroradiological concepts among participants during the urology simulation boot camp.</p>
