摘要

Cu2(OH)3(NO3)/few-layer graphene nanocomposites are the promising catalysts in azo dyes removal and are the research focuses. In this study, the pulsed discharge of HNO3-treated graphite strip was carried out in Cu(NO3)2 solvent. The recovered samples were characterized by multiple techniques, including TEM, SEM, AFM, XRD and XPS. The corresponding characterization results show that the recovered sample features the morphology of various Cu2(OH)3(NO3) nanosheets were anchored on the surface of few-layer graphene. In the recovered sample, the matrix, few-layer graphene, are in lateral size of 8–25 μm, thickness of 2–5 layers. The Cu2(OH)3(NO3) nanosheets is in lateral size of 2–5 μm with thickness of 75 nm. The formation mechanism of Cu2(OH)3(NO3)/few-layer graphene (FLG) during pulsed discharge is also discussed based on the experimental conditions and results. Our studies demonstrate an efficient and cost-effective route to produce Cu2(OH)3(NO3)/FLG nanocomposite materials.
