<p>This study presents a novel structured color filter that is based on Fabry- Pérot resonance and exhibits high saturation, high brightness, and angle-insensitive RGB transmitted colors. Unlike conventional Fabry-Pérot structures, the symmetrically configured anti-reflective coated (AR-coated) structure improves transmission efficiency without compromising color purity. Additionally, the use of a high refractive index cavity material results in excellent angular independence (up to 70° for red and green, and 40° for blue). Compared with previous studies, the color filters proposed in this paper exhibit much higher performance, rendering them promising for potential applications in color display, imaging, optical anti-counterfeiting, and image sensors.</p>
