Effects of TBPO-capped CdSe nanoparticles concentration on thermal conductivity and diffusivity in Poly (3-hexylthiophene) thin films
摘要
Improvement of thermal conductivity of polymer present a key to realizing efficient thermal transport used for various applications remains a long-standing challenge. In fact, we investigate the effect of TBPO-capped CdSe nanoparticles concentration on Thermal properties in Poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) thin films. We employed photothermal deflection technique PTD for thermal conductivity and diffusivity determination. Thermal conductivity and diffusivity were determined by fitting theoretical amplitude and phase of PTD signal to the experimental ones. We remark that thermal diffusivity D decreased for 3.52– 0.23 m2/s as function of CdSe nanoparticles concentration (NPs) in P3HT. However, thermal conductivity K increases for 1.78– 3.18 W/m.K as respect of CdSe nanoparticles concentration in P3HT. High thermal conductivity and lower thermal diffusivity are obtained for 40% TBPO-capped CdSe concentration in P3HT sample.
