Rationelle manuelle Therapie bei Gangdysbalancen
摘要
Manual medicine requires a thorough analysis of the pathogenesis of functional disorders—ranging from adaptation and compensation to decompensation—and the resulting clinical findings. To ensure high-quality care, the appropriate amount of diagnostic and therapeutic methods is systematically planned. This paper focuses on dysfunctions of the lower limb functional chain viewed from a caudocranial developmental perspective. It introduces so-called basic techniques, i.e., initial manual therapy interventions for pain syndromes affecting the leg chain. Clinical experience shows that these techniques provide an effective entry point into therapy and can significantly reduce the overall treatment duration. They are quick and easy to apply and lead to a marked improvement in proprioception. Given their high efficacy and low time investment, these basic techniques meet the criteria for rational, high-quality treatment. They are also well suited for use in acute care consultations.
