Die Gesellschaft für Myoskeletale Medizin in der Tschechischen Republik
摘要
Manual medicine in the Czech Republic is organized, taught, and developed through the Society of Myoskeletal Medicine. Prof. Karel Lewit, who was involved in the society’s foundation, had a significant impact on manual examinations and treatment in the former Czechoslovakia and beyond. Manual medicine is an important element of physiotherapeutic rehabilitation methods. Interest in training courses is growing. Participants comprise not only specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation but also many neurologists, orthopedists, general practitioners, and, recently, also algesiologists.
