Die European Scientific Society of Manual Medicine
摘要
In 2012, the intension of the executive board of the International Federation for Manual/Musculoskeletal Medicine (FIMM) to create a European branch was realized with the foundation of the European Scientific Society of Manual Medicine (ESSOMM) as an independent organization, as there are significant differences in the understanding of manual medicine within Europe compared to elsewhere. This article provides an overview of the structure and work of the ESSOMM. Guidelines have been developed toward which national societies can orient their curricula, teacher qualifications, and the quality of their centers. Regular symposia take place for scientific tasks, and valid subgroups are formed.
