Die Französische Gesellschaft für Orthopädische Manuelle Medizin und Medizinische Osteopathie im Jahr 2024

Since its foundation, the French Society of Orthopaedic and Osteopathic Manual Medicine (Société Française de Médecine Manuelle Orthopédique et Ostéopathie Médicale, SOFMMOOM) has developed continuously. The SOFMMOOM promotes training in manual medicine and medical osteopathy via a university diploma. The COVID-19 pandemic was associated with manifold challenges but the training programme was successfully modernised in 2023 and expanded to European and international standards. The SOFMMOOM remains active in research and the organisation of congresses in France and strengthens networking within the worldwide manual medicine community.
