The Swiss Medical Society for Manual Medicine (Schweizerische Ärztegesellschaft für Manuelle Medizin, SAMM) has been promoting manual medicine in Switzerland since 1959. With around 1300 members, the SAMM offers comprehensive medical education in neuromusculoskeletal pain medicine in the form of a modular course. The SAMM is also engaged in research activities and organizes annual congresses promoting interdisciplinary cooperation.
