Die internationale manualmedizinische Dachgesellschaft: die FIMM mit ihren aktuellen Zielen, Stärken und Aktivitäten

With regard to the ongoing activities of the International Federation for Manual/Musculoskeletal Medicine (FIMM), it is important to note that the association is continuously working on the further development of manual medicine. Current objectives include promotion of international cooperation and exchange of knowledge between member countries. A SWOT analysis is used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks (threats) of the association in order to work specifically on improvement and further development. The FIMM is also actively involved in health policy discussions as well as campaigns for manual medicine to be recognized as an important treatment method. The education board has certified the national curricula of individual member organizations in order to promote quality and international standards among its members. In addition, the FIMM attaches great importance to attracting new members and expanding its international network. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the FIMM has found innovative ways to stay connected with its members and provide relevant information.
