Trainingssimulatoren für die Ausbildung in manueller Medizin bei Kindern und Atlasimpulstherapie

摘要

Manual medicine is a specialized branch of medicine and describes the therapeutic application of directed force to the human body to improve the mobility of joints and tissues and to correct reversible segmental dysfunctions (blockages). Training in manual medicine requires detailed knowledge of the anatomy, neurophysiology, and biomechanics of the human body and, in addition to theoretical basics, also includes practical training on adult course participants to teach diagnostic and therapeutic methods. However, this practical training is not fully possible in manual medicine training for children. A technique to be practiced, which has proven itself especially in manual medicine for children, is Atlas therapy according to Arlen. However, the treatment of infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities requires precise techniques that cannot be learned without supervised training on a simulator. Realistic simulations and real-time feedback are crucial parts of supervised training, but the high costs of simulators currently available on the market as well as the lack of measurements on the direction of force create hurdles in training. To date, the use of simulators in manual medicine training has been very rare.
