Chancen, Risiken und Lehre in der manuellen Medizin
摘要
Looking back at the activities of the past 20 years reveals opportunities and risks for specialist training in manual medicine (MM). Opportunities for further development lie in the wealth of new scientific knowledge to explain the effect of MM methods. The risks arise from economic issues in the health case system. Quality assurance in the teaching and everyday practice of MM under these conditions is essential. It is recommended that the DGMM presidium and the boards of its societies involve their members more closely in scientific thinking and activities. In particular, specialist training courses must increase the practical competencies of the participants in order to translate theoretical knowledge into effective medical practice.
