Synthesis and performance study of methyl eugenol modified polyvinylidene fluoride
摘要
A novel modified PVDF containing methyl eugenol unit has been successfully synthesized via solution polymerization, and its structure and performance was characterized and confirmed by FT-IR, 1H and 19F-NMR. TGA-DSC and XRD demonstrated that the polymers were highly thermal stable with low crystallinity, which exhibited an increase of 5.2 °C in its Td,10% compared to PVDF homopolymer. Modified PVDF porous films with high thermal stability and excellent hydrophilicity were fabricated through simple blending. The thermal shrinkage of the modified films at 160 °C was less than 20%, decreasing to 83.4% of the original value. The maximum water contact angle reduction was 15.7°, and the wettability improved threefold.
